About the Role
We're looking for someone to own two things as we grow into enterprise and regulated markets: keep our internal IT running smoothly, and drive our ISO 27001 certification day-to-day as the internal owner of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
You won't do this alone — you'll be backed by a compliance-automation platform and specialist support — but you'll be the person who makes it real and keeps it real.
Responsibilities
Internal IT
Own employee onboarding/offboarding: hardware provisioning, accounts, access.
Administer identity & SSO, device management (MDM), and the SaaS tool stack.
First-line internal IT support and vendor/hardware management.
Security & Compliance
Act as internal owner of the ISO 27001 ISMS: risk register, Statement of Applicability, policies, internal audits, management reviews, evidence collection.
Be the point of contact for the external auditor and the fractional ISO consultant.
Administer the compliance-automation platform (e.g. Vanta / Drata / Secureframe).
Maintain access control, asset management, and acceptable-use policies across the organisation.
Requirements
Experience in internal IT / system administration for a growing company.
Strong organisation and documentation skills — comfortable owning policies and processes.
Familiarity with identity/SSO, MDM, and common SaaS administration.
Exposure to an information-security framework (ISO 27001 ideal; SOC 2 / NIS2 / GDPR relevant).
Reliable, methodical, and able to drive a multi-month program to completion.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience taking an organisation through ISO 27001 certification.
Familiarity with compliance-automation tooling.
Background in a regulated or defense-adjacent environment.
