About the Role
Our enterprise customers run custom deployments of Flai, and they need a single, technically fluent point of contact who owns their success. You'll be that person: translating customer requirements into engineering tickets, keeping the customer informed, and steering delivery from spec to production.
This is a client-facing delivery role at the intersection of customer, product, and engineering.
German is a hard requirement. You'll run meetings and all technical conversations with customers in German. Fluent, professional German (business and technical) is essential; strong English for internal work.
Responsibilities
Own the relationship with enterprise customers running custom deployments — their trusted technical point of contact.
Translate customer requirements and specifications into clear, well-scoped engineering tickets, and shepherd them through delivery.
Run customer meetings and all technical conversations in German.
Coordinate between customers and our engineering team; manage scope, timelines, and expectations.
Keep customers informed and confident throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Fluent, professional German — able to lead meetings and technical discussions in German. (Strong English for internal collaboration.)
Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements and managing delivery.
Comfortable in technical conversations and reading/writing engineering tickets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; calm and organised under competing priorities.
A background — through study or work experience — in at least ONE of the following is a must:
Geoinformatics
IT / Software
Web technologies
GIS
Remote Sensing
We don't expect anyone to have all of these. Depth in one is required; the adjacent domains can be learned on the job — onboarding will be relatively short, so you'll need to come up to speed quickly.
Nice to have
Experience with enterprise / on-premise software delivery or custom deployments.
Project management experience in a technical B2B environment.
Familiarity with issue trackers (GitLab, Jira) and agile delivery.
Additional languages.
