Flai has been selected for Cohort #2 of the EUDIS Business Accelerator, the European Commission initiative supporting defense-tech startups and scaleups in Europe. EUDIS, the EU Defence Innovation Scheme, exists to bring companies that do not usually work with defense into the European defense industrial ecosystem, and the accelerator is its program for getting them there.
What we bring to the cohort
Flai is a sovereign GeoAI platform. It takes complex sensor data, LiDAR, bathymetry and photogrammetry, and turns it into 3D spatial information that people can act on, so defense and civil teams produce usable maps faster and with far less manual work.
The part that matters for a defense context is where that processing happens. Flai runs on your own hardware, behind your own firewall, and in disconnected environments, so nothing has to leave the network to be classified. As a Slovenian company, we are European in origin and outside US CLOUD Act jurisdiction, which for sovereignty-sensitive programs is a precondition rather than a selling point.
This is not our first work in the domain. We took part in REPMUS 2025 as part of the Rapid Environmental Assessment effort, applying automated processing to maritime survey data with operational users in the room.
